We will come and talk to you to collate as much information as possible about your business and its needs. Depending on your experience in handling overseas international payments and risk management, we can also take this opportunity to fully explain how the whole market works and what facilities and different currency contracts (spot and forward) are available to you. If you are happy and comfortable with all the information we have given you, we will move to the next stage.

This is when we will open a ‘dealing account’ for your company with one of our trusted partners. Registration is relatively easy, and we will require several documents, like ID and proof of address, to get you through the know your client (KYC) process. KYC is very important to us.

When you are ready and, more importantly, happy to make your transaction, we will buy or sell your required currency to normally settle an invoice. This currency will be bought or sold at the agreed margin, which we would have discussed in step 1. Once the deal has been agreed, we buy or sell the currency you need at the price we discussed.

We will email you the trade confirmation and only then we will expect your payment to us within two working days. There is no point receiving your funds before we know what exchange rate we can get. The intricacies of receiving your funds will all be part of our initial discussion to make sure they arrive on time.

Once your funds arrive with us, we will make the onward payment to the beneficiary on your behalf.

This whole process normally works like clockwork but sometimes there can be unforeseen delays, but rest assured we will always be here for you to discuss any problems and to find a solution. One thing we do is plan very carefully, so the whole process runs smoothly, and you get your required funds to their destination when required.
